Grape cuttings
I put the cuttings in pots on a terminating pad, protected them from the cool winter temperatures, kept the seeding mix moist and waited.

Grape trellises
I put 4 by 4 posts at the ends, T-posts in between at 10 foot intervals, and strung 9 gauge wire at two levels.

Grape vine cuttings
I chose a variety of vines for the cuttings from two different varieties. I wonder if I kept the two varieties apart. Time will tell.

Rooting
I prepared each mound with commercial compost and a bit of complete organic fertilizer. Some of the cuttings rooted and some didn't. Some didn't survive transplanting. Out of 18 original cuttings I had 6 healthy grape vines
