A row of ground cherries
I had no idea how these would grow, so, naturally, I planted them too close together. But they didn't get tall and lanky like my tomatillos.

Ground Cherry cleanup
Even after raking, shoveling and picking up, I'm confident numerous ground cherry have hidden and that I will see more of these cousins of tomatillo.
