Cucumber beetle
There are two varieties plaguing my gardens, the spotted cucumber beetle and the striped cucumber beetle. They do similar damage, though they behave a bit differently.
hat Are Cucumber Beetles?
Signs of cucumber beetle infestation are that seedlings are being eaten off, leaves are yellowing or wilting, or holes are showing holes.
Both the striped cucumber beetles and spotted cucumber beetle are specialists on cucurbits (cucumbers, squash, and melons). The spotted beetle is also fond of corn and grasses.
