Remineralization tools
I knew the demands of remineralization increase complexity if measuring, mixing and applying the combination of minerals.
OdJob mixer
I use the OddJob for mixing the minerals, as well as my potting soil, which includes seedling mix, worm castings and complete organic fertilizer. It is also used for mixing small batches of concrete, but works even better for mixing minerals and potting soil.
Baker's scale
Another multi-purpose tool is this kitchen scale. Called the KD8000 Bakers Math Kitchen Scale by My Weight, its versatility allows me to weigh grams to pounds and just about any format. The tare function allows me to weigh multiple amounts of minerals in a single pass in just one container, making for quick and accurate amounts.
Effectiveness
Both of these tools allow me to work quickly and with accuracy. The mixer does a good job and a quick one of mixing a multitude of minerals - I might have a mix of 10-15 pounds of six to eight minerals. The result of just a couple of minutes rolling the OdJob is a very even mixture.
