+We bought a dryer and it does work. Now we need to figure out how to like things that are dried.
+We tried apples (OK), zucchini (not so, even Carol Deppe's Costata Romanesco variety - the skin dries too hard), kiwi (not again), and tomato (OK, but we're not accustomed to using them).
+We'll work more on drying someday.
+<note tip>I have effectively used the dryer to dry bean seeds for replanting and cooking when they aren't completely dry on the vine by dialing the lowest heat setting and leaving overnight.</note>
