My raspberries grow canes at least five-feet-tall. They need supports to hold them in place, and to keep then from being laid down by the usual strong winds we have here. canes that benefit from supports.
In calm weather, the wires hold the raspberries gently in place. In windy weather, they stop the plants from being whipped to the ground by our typical, strong winds.
In some raspberry fields poles are set on either side of a bed in Y of V shapes provide support.
I use T-posts at several places about ten feet apart, add horizontal bars to each and pull two wires through each to give the plants something to lean against.
To support the end T-posts I use T-posts diagonally between the end and an extra one next to it. I found Wedge-Loc Diagonal Corner Braces which were designed particularly for this kind of application.
