===== Canning vegetables =====

We prefer to preserve some vegetables by canning, for example, tomatoes, peaches and peppers in salsa.

We preserve peaches and apples by canning, but make apple butter, apple sauce and jellies from strawberries, blackberries, grapes and raspberries. Of course we don't grow all of these fruits, but we have plentiful local supplies.
