I have composted all the melon vines - a very poor crop of melons due to bacterial wilt - and I will harvest the last of the summer squash soon. I recently seeded a winter cover crop of crimson clover but it hasn’t yet begun to sprout. Already it is getting a bit late for planting cover crops, so I’m hoping for some sunny weather (that may help the pumpkins ripen, too).
