The tillage radish and oat cover crop is doing well in the garden. I sowed these in August, before the farm and both radish and oat are over a foot tall. On the left is a puny crop of crimson clover, which I thought would re-seed from the mature crop from the past winter along with a robust crop of cool-season weeds. When the weeds got taller than the clover or began to go to seed, I scythed them, hoping to allow the clover to recover.
